Political Advertising Policy

Ace Country Radio (“Ace Country,” “KACP-FM,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) complies with applicable federal law and Federal Communications Commission (“FCC”) requirements governing political broadcasting, political advertising, sponsorship identification, and maintenance of required political file records.

This page is provided for informational purposes concerning our political advertising policies and FCC public file procedures.

FCC Online Public Inspection File

Political advertising records required by law are maintained in the station’s FCC Online Public Inspection File, available through the KACP Public File link accessible on this website.

Where required by applicable law, information relating to requests for political advertising time, candidate advertising purchases, issue advertising, and associated records will be placed in the FCC political file in accordance with applicable FCC requirements.

Candidate Advertising

Legally qualified candidates seeking political advertising should contact the station regarding availability, rates, scheduling, sponsorship identification requirements, and applicable documentation requirements.

Political advertising requests may be subject to:

• Candidate qualification review

• Required documentation

• Sponsorship identification requirements

• Applicable FCC rules

• Station policies

• Availability of advertising inventory

• Applicable federal and state law

Political File Documentation

Materials required to be placed in the FCC political file, including records commonly referenced in station practice as PB18 and PB19 documentation, where applicable, along with other required political file records, will be posted to the political portion of the FCC Online Public Inspection File within the time required by applicable law or, where timing depends upon receipt or completion of necessary information, as promptly as reasonably practicable after:

• The candidate or authorized purchaser has completed and signed required paperwork;

• Required order details and supporting information have been provided;

• Necessary review for completeness, compliance, and accuracy has occurred; and

• Applicable FCC requirements governing such posting have been satisfied.

Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted to waive, alter, expand, or limit any obligations imposed by applicable law or FCC rules, and in the event of any inconsistency, applicable law and FCC requirements shall control.

Ace Country reserves the right to correct clerical, administrative, or posting errors and to make updates or amendments to political file materials as required by law.

Issue Advertising

Advertising involving political matters, public importance issues, ballot initiatives, or other issue advertising may be subject to additional review, documentation, disclosures, and applicable legal requirements.

Sponsors may be required to provide information necessary for compliance with applicable law.

Rates and Classes of Time

Political advertising may be sold subject to:

• Applicable FCC requirements

• Station advertising policies

• Inventory availability

• Program schedules

• Applicable lowest unit charge requirements, where required by law

• Classes of advertising time offered by the station

Availability of specific schedules, programs, or time periods is not guaranteed.

Sponsorship Identification

All political advertising must comply with applicable sponsorship identification requirements.

The station reserves the right to require sponsor identification and supporting documentation sufficient to satisfy legal and regulatory obligations.

No Endorsement

Acceptance, scheduling, or broadcast of political advertising does not constitute endorsement by:

• Station ownership

• Management

• Employees

• Staff

• Sponsors

• Affiliates

The broadcast of political advertising is subject to applicable legal obligations and does not imply support for any candidate, committee, issue, or political position.

Licensee Rights

Nothing in this Policy limits the licensee’s rights or obligations under applicable law.

Ace Country reserves all rights necessary to comply with:

• Federal law

• FCC requirements

• Applicable political broadcasting rules

• Sponsorship identification rules

• Public file obligations

• Station operational and legal requirements

Errors and Omissions

While the station seeks to maintain accurate and timely records, clerical, administrative, or technical errors may occur.

The station reserves the right to correct errors and update records as necessary.
